When Jon drew a coveted mountain goat tag, he knew he was in for a demanding hunt. With his brother Marcus, Marcus's wife, and their father along for the adventure, the group set out to find a mature billy in some of the toughest country around.
The hunt takes an unexpected turn when Jon breaks his leg deep in the mountains. Most people would have called it quits, but Jon wasn't ready to give up. After recovering, he makes his way back into the mountains with only a few days left in the season.
They search hard, glass countless ridges, and push all the way to the final moments of the season. The tag ultimately goes unfilled, but this hunt was never just about punching a tag. It's about perseverance, family, and continuing to push forward when things don't go your way.
Sometimes the most memorable hunts are the ones where you never give up.
