The search continues.
After Randy's shot the previous day, he and Marcus are determined to find the bull. They grid the country, glass likely escape routes, check bedding areas, and spend the entire day searching for any sign of the elk.
But despite covering a tremendous amount of ground, they can't turn up the bull.
Eventually, they have to leave the unit for another trip, leaving Randy with a decision to make. The archery season may be over, but the story isn't.
Randy plans to return during rifle season and try to close the chapter on the bull that got away.
