Randy returns to his go-to glassing spot at first light to survey the area and see what he can find. He isn't the only one utilizing that spot, as they see a fresh and well-defined grizzly track that was made last night or earlier that morning.
Randy keeps hitting different glassing knobs, hoping to turn up that bull that he saw the other day. It's a beautiful and crisp morning, which makes Randy hope that moose will be up on their feet moving. He keeps moving from spot to spot especially during prime glassing time in the morning and evenings.
They decide to head up to some higher elevation and give that a try. Randy doesn't see a moose up there but he does relocate an old friend he nicknamed "Grubby" the big billy mountain goat. He has a tag for this unit but doesn't plan to hunt it until later in the fall.
